Where It All Started...

Hailey and Jazmine’s connection is rooted in an unconventional sisterhood. Their parents married in 2021, but the relationship ended due to domestic violence—a stark example of how helpers can unintentionally or intentionally become harmers. Despite their parents’ separation, Hailey and Jazmine maintained a bond stronger than the trauma meant to divide them. Their shared experiences of navigating abuse and systemic failures sparked their mission to create Authentically Disasterous: The Podcast. Together, they amplify voices, explore the intersections of trauma, resilience, and recovery, and provide a platform for women to rise from life’s disasters with strength and support.
